Reward offered

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information about two people who robbed the All-Star Express Convenience Store in Carmichaels on two different days in January.

State police at Waynesburg continue their search for a female suspect who robbed the store on Jan. 8 and a male suspect who robbed the store on Jan. 14.

Around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 8, a female suspect entered the Greene County store and demanded money from the clerk, police said. She specifically demanded $20 bills and threatened to shoot the clerk in the head, police said.

The suspect was wearing a bright blue ski mask, black ski jacket, gray flannel pants, white sneakers and black gloves.

About 1:30 a.m. Jan. 14, a male suspect entered the store, demanded money from the clerk and then threatened to shoot the clerk, police said.

This suspect was wearing a black ski mask with blue trim, dark colored winter coat, black jean pants and white sneakers, police said.

South Connellsville

Charges pending

State police said charges are pending against two Connellsville men suspected of robbing Dale Emerlick of Connellsville at 11 p.m. Sept. 3. Police said the two men broke into Emerlick’s 401 Reidmore home and stole a safe containing collectible coins.

Cash stolen

Joel Pockstaller of Dunbar told state police that about $50 and prescription medications were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on South Mount Vernon Avenue between 8 and 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Man injured

State police said a car driven by Robert Rudnik, 23, no address available, and a motorcycle driven by Brandon Ozorowski, 18, no address available, were involved in a collision at the intersection of Johnson Lane and Connellsville Avenue in Bullskin Township at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Ozorowski suffered major injures in the crash, police said.

Windshields broken

Jody Layman of Normalville told state police that vandals broke the windshields of two vehicles parked at her home at 740 Indian Creek Valley Road sometime Sunday, police said.

Two cars crash

State police said vehicles driven by Donald Smith and Connie Gurki, both of Connellsville, collided on Route 119 near Brooks Auto, where the vehicles then struck three parked cars at the auto lot around 9:20 a.m. Monday. Gurki suffered moderate injuries in the crash, police said.

Man injured

State police said Christopher Bainbridge, 28, no address available, suffered minor injuries when the truck he was driving crashed on Route 166 at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Medication stolen

Misty Boyd of Uniontown told state police that prescription pills were stolen from her home at 294 Morgan Station Road between 7:30 a.m. Sept. 1 and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5, police said.

Checks stolen

State police said several checks owned by Christy Lawver of North Union Township were stolen from her 416 First St. home between 11 a.m. Sept. 3 and 2:30 a.m. Sept. 5.

Connellsville Twp.

Man cited

Brian Douglas Carson of Connellsville Township was cited for disorderly conduct after an altercation with Samuel Farino, also of Connellsville Township, at a Cummins Avenue home at 2 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Uniontown police said a vehicle owned by James Geibig of Windber was damaged while it was parked on Locust Street at 1:05 a.m. Thursday.

Joyce Swaney of Uniontown told city police that her weed trimmer was stolen from her home on Bierer Avenue at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday, Uniontown police said.

Plate recovered

A vehicle license plate that had been reported stolen was recovered at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday on a car parked on Searights Avenue, Uniontown police said.

Warrant served

During a routine traffic stop on Fayette Street at 2:16 a.m. Tuesday, Uniontown police served a warrant for a protection-from-abuse violation against Bernard Richardson, 27, of Ohiopyle, police said.

Man charged

Terry L. Back, 51, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness after he struck Matilda Kalook, also of Uniontown, numerous times during an argument at her West Main Street apartment at 2:23 a.m. Thursday, city police said.
