Candlelight Ghost/Legend Tours will be held at Nemacolin Castle, Front Street, Brownsville, every from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in October beginning Oct. 7 and ending Oct. 29. Those who don’t believe in ghosts just might change their minds once they enter this 217-year-old house museum. “The spirit energy will overwhelm you the minute you walk through the door,” according to tour organizers. “You may be greeted by someone who has departed this life time 150 years ago. As you tour this mansion by candlelight a guide dressed in period costume will enthrall you with documented ghostly activity.”

Special activities will take place on the Castle grounds, call for details.

Members of the Mon Valley Ghost Research Society will be available most nights for questions and to share pictures and stories.

Visit Nemacolin Castle and enjoy the spirit of Halloween in a truly historic setting.

Charge for Castle tours is $7 adults, and $4 for children 12 and under. No reservations are needed except for groups of 20 persons or more. Groups may schedule at earlier hours and there is a group rate.
