Elizabeth A. “Bette” (Plesh) Elias, 73, of Masontown, Pa., died on Friday, September 15, 2006, in Life Care Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was born on February 8, 1933, in Masontown, Pa., a daughter of Thomas and Helen (Kozelvcar) Plesh.

Her parents, beloved husband, Eli “EEL” Elias (1996) and sisters, Katherine Hanna and Mary Plesh preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Suzanne Fitzgerald of Natrona Heights, Pa., Mary Beth Robowski and “J.R.” Eli Elias, Jr. and his wife, Lori all of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandchildren: Nicole Fitzgerald, Emily Fitzgerald, Ryan Robowski and Jacob Elias; and a sister, Mildred Stager of Parma Heights, Ohio.

“Bette” was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, past president and member of Saint Mary’s Rosary Society and member and past recording secretary of Pals Social Citizens Club Auxiliary.

She had been employed with Solomon and Teslovich for many years in bookkeeping. There she met her husband and raised her family with great love and care. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, September 18, 2006, until 10:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Donald P. Trexler as Celebrant. Interment will be held in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.

Saint Mary’s Rosary Society will recite the Rosary on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. The Pals Social Citizens Club Ladies Auxiliary will hold Services on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m.
