Dolores Jean Kundrick
Dolores Jean Kundrick, 75, of Carmichaels, Pa., went to join the Lord and His Angels on Friday, September 15, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. after a lengthy stay at Washington Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Kundrick was born February 22, 1931, in Nemacolin, Pa., a daughter of the late Anthony and Laura Linderman Petratus.
Mrs. Kundrick was a member of the Carmichaels First Christian Church and Christian Women’s Fellowship. She worked at Greenway Manufacturing Company, Masontown, Pa., for many years and cooked at the Guardian Angels Rest Home, Carmichaels, Pa.
Mrs. Kundrick is the widow of Andrew Kundrick, Jr., who died January 15, 1969.
Mrs. Kundrick is survived by her seven daughters: Saundra Thomas, Mary Donaldson, Laura (and William) Danforth, Annette (and William Teegarden) Thomas all of Carmichaels, Cynthia Thomas of Lusby, Maryland, Janette (and Robert) Estep of Tornado, West Virginia and Andrea (and Willard) Saylor of Tollesboro, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren: Joey, Robby and Rachelle Estep, Michelle, Chrissy and Ashley Donaldson, Gary, Jessie and Nathan Danforth, Aimee Hunchuck and Kelly Gilroy; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Warsack of Sebring, Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Petratus and a sister, Gay Daugherty.
Her sister-in-law, Dolores Petratus, helped take care for her.
Dolores will truly be missed by her family and circle of friends.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., Paul Lesako, Funeral Director/Supervisor, on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. and in the FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH, Carmichaels, Pa., on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Reagan Fike officiating.
Burial will be in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels, Pa.
