John V. “Jack” Columbus, 76, of Connellsville, Pa., died peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2006, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, Pa., with the Rev. Terry Hercik as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville.

A Parish Wake Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Monday evening in the funeral home.
