State police said a 41-year-old Brownsville woman slapped a 13-year-old Republic boy after breaking up a fight involving the boy and her 11-year-old son in the Grindstone Foodland parking lot at 11:45 a.m. Saturday.

Chris Michaux, 47, of Brownsville was charged with criminal trespass after he allegedly trespassed on Hunter’s Ridge apartment complex property at 8:46 a.m. Thursday, state police said.

State police said charges were filed against Jody Evans of Republic after she allegedly harassed Marcella Thomas of Republic at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at a Steel Street location.

Man cited
John Potts Jr., 31, of Footedale was cited for harassment after he allegedly pushed Krystal Potts, 28, of Footedale in the face during an altercation inside a South Union Township store at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

State police said someone damaged the Pony Express Restaurant sign on Morgantown Road between 9 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Man injured
State police said Barry Henderson, no address available, was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital with a moderate leg injury after being involved in a motorcycle accident on Englishman Hill Road at 8:11 p.m. Saturday. Police said Henderson was wearing a helmet.

Door kicked in
Summary charges were filed against Adam Moody, 32, of Fayette City after he allegedly kicked in the door of a Lowber Road residence belonging to Cheryl Avery, 41, of Fayette City at 10 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Items burned
Robert Kazmierczak, 35, of Fairbank told state police someone burned three cushions from a patio furniture set and attempted to burn the American flag hanging from his porch between 10 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Shots reported
City police said officers patrolled the area of Morgantown Street at 10:56 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report of two black males shooting out windows with a BB gun. Police said officers were unable to locate the suspects.

Car damaged
Russell Brooks of 119 S. Mount Vernon Ave., Uniontown, told city police at 10:57 p.m. Saturday that someone had damaged his vehicle with a bicycle. Police said minor damage was observed on the vehicle, police said.

Police called
City police said officers were called to Pershing Court twice between 11:56 p.m. Saturday and 12:12 a.m. Sunday on two separate incidents. The first incident involved two males who were allegedly flagging down vehicles, while the second incident involved a large group of about 40 juveniles that had gathered outside and was disturbing the peace, police said, noting that officers dispersed the group without incident.

Hit-and-run probed
Colleen Plavi of Uniontown told city police at 12:16 a.m. Sunday that someone in a passing vehicle sideswiped her vehicle while it was parked in front of her 22 Gilmore St. residence and left the scene without stopping. Police said the driver’s side mirror was broken off.

Items stolen
State police said someone stole several items belonging to John Younkin of Wharton Township, including two 36-inch steel entry doors and numerous power tools, from a house under construction on 250 Mill Run School Road between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Vehicle accident
According to state police, a person driving a 1994 Dodge Shadow crashed on Dinnerbell Ohiopyle Road at 8:40 a.m. Sunday. Police said the person fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

Dog shot
State police said a 29-year-old Markleysburg man shot a white, black and brown mixed breed dog that had been running in a field near his Bruceton Road residence at 7:45 a.m. Saturday. The dog, according to police, was taken to a local veterinarian clinic, where it was euthanized. Anyone having information about the owner of the dog is asked to contact Trooper B. Pitchford at the Uniontown state police barracks at 724-439-7111.

State police said a 59-year-old Confluence man pulled a gun on an 80-year-old Confluence man during an argument over stolen wood at 11 a.m. Wednesday at a Mae West Road location.

Woman charged
Marcie Jo Rapchak, 42, of Jefferson was charged with harassment after she allegedly slapped Kelly Cratty, 53, of Clarksville in the face several times at a Castle Run Road residence at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

State police said driving under the influence charges are pending against a 40-year-old Carmichaels man who was pulled over for committing alleged traffic violations on Route 88 near Route 21 at 1:13 a.m. Sunday.

Vehicle damaged
Sean Taylor, 30, of Gendeeville, W.Va., told state police someone used a beer bottle to damage the right front fender of his vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on East High Street between 2 and 3 a.m. Saturday, police said, noting damage was estimated at $250.

Man arrested
Andrew Harding, 23, of Waynesburg was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment after being involved in a physical altercation with Emmie Teets, 20, of Waynesburg at the couple’s Sugar Run Road residence at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

According to state police, Valerie Loar of Nemacolin violated a protection from abuse order by visiting Robert Loar of Clarksville at his 132 Fourth St. residence at 3:44 a.m. Saturday. Police said Valerie Loar had been ordered not to have contact with Robert Loar.

State police said a Dilliner man punched Tracy Bowen of Dilliner in the head during an altercation at a Maple Street residence at 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Vehicle scratched
Gary and Donna Higinbotham of Jefferson told state police someone scratched their vehicle while it was parked at the Jefferson High School Athletic Field between 5:30 and 9:50 p.m. Friday, police said, noting that damage was done to the left side hood and driver’s side door.

State police said someone stole a tailgate from John Howard Motors of Waynesburg between 8 a.m. Sept. 10 and 10 a.m. Sept. 11.

Woman charged
Kristine Washko, 22, of Jefferson was charged with harassment after she allegedly physically assaulted Aaron Nichols, 30, of Jefferson at a Havers Hill Road residence at 4:54 p.m. Sept. 12, state police said.
South Connellsville
Man shocked
An unidentified man was taken by ambulance to Highlands Hospital in Connellsville after being shocked by electrical wires Sunday evening, emergency officials said. A spokesman for Fayette County 911 said the incident occurred at 6:59 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Pittsburgh Street. Officials on scene said the man was conscious and alert after being shocked. South Connellsville police and fire departments responded, as did Fayette EMS, according to information from 911. No further information was available Sunday.
