Constance L. “Connie” (Clark) LaRose, 76, of Masontown, Pa., was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 18, 2006. She was born on July 29, 1930, in Masontown, Pa., daughter of James L. Clark and Ina Smith Clark Drennen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Anthony LaRose Jr., former owner of LaRose Restaurant, whom she married on March 29, 1946, as well as a great-grandson, Larry Ewing III and five brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda L. Adams and husband Andrew of Republic, Pa., Elaine “Susan” Pluechel and husband Joseph of RD 1 Masontown, Pa., with whom she made her home, Anthony LaRose III of Masontown, Pa. and Angela Hamman and husband John of Connellsville, Pa.; her beloved grandchildren, Lawrence Ewing Jr., Dannette Brown, Anthony LaRose IV, Jamye LaRose, Matthew LaRose, Michael LaRose, Kristen Gordon, Sarah Hamman, Andrea LaRose, Jason LaRose, Justin LaRose, and Felicia Barlow; beloved great-grandchildren, Paige Ewing, Gary, Andrew and Suzy Seese, Anthony, Aiden and Anakin LaRose, and Clay, Jamye and Chelsea La Rose; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed reading, playing cards with her family and bingo. Fridays were special. Spent with her many friends at the beauty shop. Her laughter, kindness, and caring spirit will always be remembered.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at a time to be announced.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Nicholson Township, Pa.
