Jimmie Lue Coles
Jimmie Lue Coles, 97, of Buffington, Pa., died September 15, 2006, in Brockton Massachusetts Hospital. She was born December 2, 1908, in Dora, Alabama.
A graduate of Storer College presently Virginia Union University. A proud member of Mount Ararat Baptist Church in Cardale, Pa, where she served as pianist for over forty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. James and Julia Arnold, her brothers, Icolious Arnold and Julius Arnold, her husband, Leroy James Coles, a son, Leroy James Coles and a daughter, Julia Coles.
She is survived by her sister-in-law and her husband, Florence and Morris Lee of Leckrone, Pa., her sister-in-law, Mrs. Etta Arnold of Brooklyn, New York; sons, James Edward Coles of Springfield, Massachusetts, Louis Thomas Coles and his wife Lucreta Coles of McClellandtown, Pa, Julius Nelson Coles of Brockton, Massachusetts; daughter-in-law, Dolores Coles of Spokane, Washington; grandsons, Lee Erick Coles, Timothy Coles of Spokane, Washington, Christopher Coles of Seattle, Washington, Robert Coles of Edenborn, Pa.; granddaughter, Melissa Coles of DuBois, Pa.; she will be missed by many members of the family and friends.
Family and friends will be received in the Messiah Baptist Church at 80 Legion Parkway in Brockton, Massachusetts from 5 to 7 p.m. on September 21, 2006. Services will begin at the church at 7 p.m.
