George H. Gettemy, 82, of Mount Independence, Pa., passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006, in the Uniontown Hospital. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., this evening, September 22, 2006, in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., and from 10 to noon on Saturday, September 23, 2006, in the Cove Run Free Methodist Church, Lemont Furnace. Services will be held in the Cove Run Free Methodist Church, Saturday, September 23, 2006, at noon with Pastor Roger Yeager officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cove Run Cemetery.

Military Graveside Services will be conducted by American Legion Post 51 and VFW Post 8543.
