Josephine A. (Kois) Sredinski
Josephine A. (Kois) Sredinski, 87, of Balsinger, Pa., passed away Friday, September 22, 2006, in her home. She was born January 28, 1919, in Buffington, Pa., the daughter of the late George H. and Anna Baniecki Kois.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis T. Sredinski, and infant daughter, Bernadette Ann, brothers, Charles, George, John and Adam Kois and sisters, Rose Volek, Mary Sipos, Ann Wydra, Nellie Esslings and Alice Kubica.
Josephine was a member of Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Christian Mothers and the Polish Heritage Club.
She is survived by her children: Father Joseph Sredinski, Pastor of Saint Hubert’s Church, Point Marion, Pa., James Sredinski and wife, Patricia of Franklin, Pa., Sr. Jolenta, SHS of Sisters of the Holy Spirit, Pittsburgh, Pa., Patricia Brensy and her husband, Michael of Fairfax Station, Virginia and Charles Sredinski of Naples, Florida; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Joseph Kois of Mentor, Ohio, Jacob Kois of Warren, Ohio, Carolyn Karpinski of Carlsbad, California and Stanley Kois of Naples, Florida; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Sunday, September 24, 2006, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, September 25, 2006, until 9:30 a.m. when Brief Prayers will be said in the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. in Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa., with the Rev. Father Alexander Pleban and the Rev. Father Joseph Sredinski as Co-Celebrants.
Interment will follow in Saint Thomas Church Cemetery, Footedale, Pa.
On Sunday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home, the Christian Mothers will say the Rosary and at 3:15 p.m. the Parish Family Vigil Service will be offered by the Ministers of Consolation.
