James Lloyd Roberts, 79, of Carmichaels, Pa., formerly of Blacksville, West Virginia and Pine Bank, Pa., died Friday, September 22, 2006, in Canonsburg General Hospital, Canonsburg, Pa. Surviving are sons: James Schroeder Roberts of Carmichaels and John Walter Phillips of Seattle, Washington; brothers: J. Frank Roberts and wife, Dorothy of Beaver, Pa., Robert B. Roberts and wife, Jean of Burgettstown, Pa., Blaine Roberts, Jr. and wife, Loraine of Beaver and Roy A. Roberts of Beaver; a sister, Sylvia M. Kent and husband, Scott of Beaver; and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed from noon to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., today in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa., and until 11 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2006.
