Lawrence Buzzelli, 84, of Lakewood, Ohio, formerly of Dunbar, Pa., died Friday, September 22, 2006, in his home. He was born February 18, 1922, in Dunbar, Pa, the son of the late Alfonso Buzzelli and the late Viola Anderson Buzzelli.

He worked as a laborer in the manufacturing industry and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II in the European Theater.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are a brother-in-law, Michael Damico of Bradenton, Florida; sister-in-law, Donna Miller Buzzelli of Cleveland, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, from 9 to 11 a.m. where services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Rodney Damico and the Rev. Robert Howell officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery with Military Rites at graveside with American Post 51 and V.F.W. Post 8543.
