German Twp. Compressor damaged

State police said someone damaged a natural gas compressor owned by Fayette Oil & Gas Inc. that was being kept at a location on Livingood Hollow Road at 8 a.m. Sunday.

Springfield Twp.

Church entered

State police said someone unlawfully entered the Normalville United Methodist Church on Springfield Pike and searched the premises for money. Police said the incident was reported at 8 a.m. Monday and that nothing appeared to have been stolen from the church.

German Twp.

Woman shoved

Lori Chipps, 33, of Adah told state police a 40-year-old Masontown woman shoved and hit her at 7:52 p.m. Sunday at a Penn Avenue location, police said.

South Union Twp.

Hit-and-run probed

State police said Katrina Kingan, 21, of Uniontown was not injured when vehicles driven by Kingan and an unidentified person in a red four-door sedan crashed at the intersection of New Salem Road and Route 40 at 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the unidentified person fled the scene following the crash.

North Union Twp.

Man injured

Stephen Mills of Vanderbilt sustained moderate injuries when his vehicle crashed on Jumonville Road near the area of Route 581 at 10:25 a.m. Monday, state police said.

Perry Twp.

Vehicle damaged

Mark Frederick of Belle Vernon told state police someone cut off some of the exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter from his vehicle while it was parked in the Layton parking area near the Yough Bike Trail between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Monday, police said.

Jefferson Twp.

Monument damaged

State police said someone spray-painted the Honor Roll at the Grindstone American Legion Post 275 sometime Saturday or Sunday.

Fayette City

Vehicle scratched

Matthew Crowson, 24, of Brownsville told state police someone scratched the left side of his vehicle while it was parked along Locust Street between 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday, police said.

Franklin Twp.

Man arrested

An 18-year-old Fairbank man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 51 at 8:02 p.m. Monday, state police said, noting that the investigation is ongoing.

Window shot

Christopher Hixson, 26, of Scottdale told state police two juveniles shot the right front passenger window of his vehicle with a BB gun while the vehicle was parked along Fifth Street at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 20, police said.

Fayette City

Two cited

State police said Chanell Lowe, 18, of New Stanton and a 17-year-old juvenile from Fayette City were cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly arguing in public on Main Street at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Uniontown

House damaged

Esther Balsinger told city police at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday that someone threw rocks at her house and that apples and golf balls have been thrown at her house in the past, police said. Police observed damage to the vinyl siding and to a window.

Man cited

City police said James Jordan of 64 Lemon St. was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment and released following an earlier altercation on Lemon Street at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Woman cited

Genia Diggs of 113 Coolspring St. was cited for harassment following an incident in the city at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Redstone Twp.

Vases stolen

State police said someone stole 122 bronze vases from gravesites at the LaFayette Memorial Park between 5 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information is asked to call the Belle Vernon state police barracks at 724-929-6262.
