Virginia E. Hyde, 85, of Clinton, died Tuesday, September 26, 2006, in her home. She was born October 28, 1920, in Somerfield, a daughter of Charles Wesley and Mary (Watson) Glover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Richard Hyde, son, James A. Hyde, three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by a son, Richard D. Hyde of Clinton; and daughters: Joyce Lane of DuBois and Jeanette Phillis of Bridgewater; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a twin brother, Dale Glover of Connellsville.

Friends will be received in the HUMBERT FUNERAL HOME, Confluence, Pa., on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Linda Dinger officiating.

Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery, Farmington.
