Erma Foster-Robinson
Erma Foster-Robinson, 88, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully at Mount Macrina Manor on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. She was born November 21, 1917, in Bessmer Alabama, the daughter of the late Cornelius Smith and Jeanetta Smith Johnson.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Saint Paul AME Church on Morgantown, Street in Uniontown. At the end of her life she cherished her friendships with Joyce and Stanley Zabros and her roommate Lucy Marlotti at Mount Macrina. She very much enjoyed her time at Adult Daycare, shopping and the activities at Mount Macrina Manor where she resided.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Robinson, Sr., her daughters, Jean Foster-Bonds, Lillie Foster-Beckwith, and a son, Murray Foster, Jr.
Surviving are her daughters: Barbara Chandler-Wright and her husband, Ben Wright, Jr. of Uniontown, Rosemary Moriarity and her husband, John of Pittsburgh, Pa., Ellen Whitehead and her husband, Ross of Garden Grove, Calif.; and a son Wilbert Robinson, Jr. and his wife, Pam of Grand Island, N.Y.; two brothers: Walter and William Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren: Nikia Moriarity, Melia Chandler, Vernon Joseph Chandler and Lance Robinson; a special niece, Joyce Johnson-Smedley and her husband, Earl; and other beloved relatives.
Friends will be received in the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., Friday, September 29, 2006, from 4 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, September 30, 2006, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service with Rev. Alfred Thompson will be officiating.
Interment will be in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
