Wine tasting event set for Oct. 14
Carl DellaPenna and John Chan put grape pulp into a winepress in preparation for a new batch of homemade wine. A sampling of locally made homemade wines will be available during the 5th Annual Taste of Italy Wine Tasting sponsored by the Brownsville Area Revitalization Corp. on Oct. 14 at the Brownsville Sons of Italy Lodge. Tickets for the event are $30, including a commemorative glass with a wine charm. Homemade Italian appetizers will also be served. For tickets or information, call 724-785-9331.
