Richter-Lyle
In an outdoor ceremony on June 24 at Hidden Valley Four Seasons Resort in Somerset, Cynthia Elizabeth Lyle married Glenn Freeman Richter. Pastor Wil Nicholson officiated.
The bride’s parents are Jim and Nancy Lyle of McMurray, formerly of Knoxville, Tenn., and Bethel Park. Maternal grandparents are the late Fred and Margaret Hoffmann of Greentree and the late William and Mathilda Lyle of Brighton Heights.
The bridegroom’s parents are Ray and Linda Richter of Normalville. Paternal grandparents are Wilma Richter and the late Charles Richter and maternal grandparents are Beatrice Hissem and the late Jay Hissem, all of Normalville.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Suzie Sodini, sister of the bride of Bethel Park. Maid of honor was Catherine Web of Blacksburg, Va. Bridesmaids were Heather Lyle, niece of the bride of Upper St. Clair; Sara Moore Arnold of Glasgow, Scotland, and Jessica Kone, of South Beach, Fla. Maria and Anna Lyle, nieces of the bride of McMurray were junior bridesmaids. Flower girl was Theresa Lyle, niece of the bride of McMurray.
Andrew Lyle of McMurray, and Alex Sodini of Bethel Park, nephews and godsons of the bride, were the ring bearers.
Best man was Gary Kimmel of Champion. Groomsmen were Jim Lyle Jr. of Upper St. Clair, and David Lyle of McMurray, both brothers of the bride, and Steven Sodini of Bethel Park, brother-in-law of the bride.
The reception was held in the Clocktower Room at Hidden Valley Resort.
The new Mrs. Richter is a 1999 graduate of Farragut High School in Knoxville. She attended Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn., for three years and graduated cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington in May of 2006 with a degree in English.
Mr. Richter graduated from Connellsville High School in Connellsville in 1997. He completed an apprenticeship with the Operating Engineers and is an operator and mechanic for Local 66.
