Richard C. Behana, age 79 of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007. He was born February 18, 1928 in Fayette City. Richard was the son of the late Amos. W. and Maude McWilliams Behana.

Richard was a member of the Perryopolis United Methodist Church. He was a 32-degree Mason with Gummert Lodge 252 F.&A.M. of Fayette City. Richard was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Richard is survived by his wife, Margaret Miller Behana; one son, Dirk E. Behana and wife, Kimberly; and one daughter, Tacy L. Behana both of Perryopolis, Pa. He was the proud grandfather of two: Amos and Christopher Behana. Richard is also survived by one brother, William Behana of the State of California.

There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. The arrangements are being made by the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa.
