Rolling Thunder announces event

Rolling Thunder Inc. Chapter 5 once again will host the Bataan Memorial Death March ride in two weeks. The third annual ride will begin at American Legion Post 47 in Uniontown at noon Saturday, April 21. The organized ride of about 90 miles will include stops at war memorials to place wreathes and raise POW-MIA flags to commemorate heroes of the Bataan Death March in World War II. All motorcyclists are invited to join the ride.

The ride will conclude with a gathering at Post 47 in Uniontown around 4 p.m. Ceremonies at the American Legion will include an official proclamation and guest speakers including a keynote speech by Abie Abraham, a Bataan Death March survivor. The public is invited to attend the ceremonies after the ride.
