Church announces upcoming events

McClellandtown Presbyterian Church, Route 21, Church Hill, will worship at 11 a.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Geoffrey Rach delivering the sermon “Where do we go from here?’ The cry room is available in the sanctuary for babies and small children during the service. This is the last Sunday for One Great Hour of Sharing offering to benefit worldwide Presbyterian programs of hunger and disaster relief and self-development aid. Sunday school classes for adults and for preschool through seventh-grade students, with teachers Betty Forgen and Peggy Perkins are starting again from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

At 4 p.m., 12 participants going to Gulfport, Miss., on April 21-29 Katrina Relief Mission Trip will be commissioned. The speaker will be Dr. Robert T. Downs, Redstone Presbyterian mission coordinator. He has visited several continents in his world mission work and as a member of the Medical Benevolence Foundation of the Presbyterian Church. Refreshments will be served in the church social room following the service.
