Geraldine Matthews Stuck
Geraldine Matthews Stuck, age 89, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of McClellandtown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, April 13, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 5, 1917, in Shoaf, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of George Matthews and Catherine Conroy Matthews.
Geraldine was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. She will be greatly missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Herbert S. Stuck, twin brother, Gerald Matthews, brothers, George Matthews, James Matthews, William Matthews, Joseph Matthews and Jack Matthews, and sisters, Rose Simeone, Betty Moore, Mary Matthews, Doris Honsaker and Jackie Thomas.
She is survived by her loving children: Lois Dienes and her husband, Bill, of Silver Spring, Maryland, Gerry Canistra of McClellandtown, Pa., Robert Stuck and his wife, Tammi, of Uniontown, Pa., and Lisa Ezzi and her husband, Ricardo “Ricky”, of Uniontown with whom she made her home; her grandchildren whom she adored: Tracie Cohee and her husband, Bruce, Samantha Rockwell and her husband, Bill, Kelly Reshenberg and her husband, Bill, Jeremy Stuck, Jason Stuck, Ricardo Ezzi Jr. and Nicholas Ezzi; and her two great-grandchildren whom she cherished: Taylor Cohee and Thomas Cohee. She is also survived by her sister, Rita Hravnak and her husband, Paul, of Canonsburg, Pa.; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today, April 15, 2007, from 2 to 9 p.m. and Monday, April 16, 2007, until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with the Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F., as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
