Anna Skovran, age 96, of Northfield, Ohio, and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died Saturday, April 14, 2007. She was born on September 16, 1910, in Webster, Washington County, Pa.

Anna was a member of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa.

She was predeceased by her Husband, John Skovran, and two Children, Mary Ann and John Edward.

She is survived by three Children: Michael Skovran and his wife Phyllis, Baltimore, Maryland, Patricia Skovran Dirda and her husband Robert Dirda, Northfield, Ohio, and Rose Marie Skovran Rupnik and her husband Paul Rupnik, North Huntington, Pa.; eight Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; and Sister, Julia in Czechoslovakia.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Tuesday, April 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Panachida Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, at 9:30 a.m.

Divine Liturgy follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa., with the Rev. Father Jerome Botsko as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Parastas Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
