Man cited
David Novotney, 18, of Brier Hill was cited for criminal mischief for allegedly damaging three mailboxes on Colvin Run Road around 2:30 a.m. Monday. The mailboxes belong to George Sebeck, Joseph Sebeck and James Sebeck, according to state police in Belle Vernon.

Burglary reported
State police in Belle Vernon said the Pitt Stop Store on Route 201 in Fayette City was broke into on Monday, and about $1,000 in cigarettes were stolen.

Damage reported
Shawn Egenlauf of Everson told state police in Belle Vernon that someone slashed the tire of his bicycle while it was parked on Brown Street around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Man charged
Southwest Regional Police charged Francis Kenneth Demarco, 44, of Grant Street, Belle Vernon, with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after he allegedly assaulted Jennifer Marie Muirhead, 35, of Belle Vernon at a Grant Street home around 6 p.m. Saturday. Police said Demarco was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner and placed in Fayette County Prison on $7,500 bond.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Amanda Regish, 18, and Katie A. Bates, 18, both of Connellsville, for retail theft after they allegedly were caught stealing merchandise from the Family Dollar store on March 24. Police said that Regish was found with $18 worth of items and Bates, $22 worth of merchandise.
– Casey M. Bowers, 50, of Connellsville for public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated March 25 on the Crawford Avenue bridge.
– Alan D. Wingrove Jr., 31, of Connellsville with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found intoxicated and causing a disturbance March 25 in North Manor.
– Wendy M. Robles, 41, of Connellsville for harassment after she allegedly made threats to an unidentified female March 26 during an incident in the 300 block of East Crawford Avenue.
– Richard D. Stewart, 47, of Connellsville for confinement of dogs following a March 26 incident in the 400 block of Eliza Street when his dog was allegedly found to be loose.
– Jason D. Nichols, 30, of Uniontown for public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated March 28 in the 1000 block of Morrell Avenue.
– Jamon Lehman, 28, of Latrobe for retail theft after he allegedly pumped $10.01 in gas at the Shop ‘n Save Express March 30 and did not pay the attendant.
– Cari A. Swope, 31, of Connellsville, for retail theft after she allegedly stole $4 worth of merchandise from the Family Dollar store on March 30.
– Vincent Andres, 22, of Connellsville with disorderly conduct after he allegedly threw an unidentified object at a residence located in the 300 block of East Francis Avenue on March 31.
– Aimee L. Pritts, 27, of Connellsville with harassment and public drunkenness after she allegedly found intoxicated and struck an unidentified female during an April 1 incident in the 300 block of North Pittsburgh Street.
– James Albright, 19, of Vanderbilt with harassment after he made multiple harassing telephone calls April 1 to an unidentified person in the 400 block of Eliza Street.
– Timothy A. Krause, 48, of Connellsville with retail theft after he allegedly stole $14 worth of merchandise from the Family Dollar store on April 5.
– Daniel R. Martin, 18, and a 17-year-old male, both of Connellsville with disorderly conduct after they were allegedly involved in a fight April 5 at the Connellsville Area Senior High School.
– Michael Talotta, 48, of Connellsville for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found intoxicated and creating a disturbance April 6 in the 300 block of North Pittsburgh Street.
– Misty Ruby, 26 of Connellsville for harassment after she allegedly spit on an unidentified male during an April 6 incident in the 400 block of York Avenue.
– Anthony French, 40, of Connellsville for confinement of dogs after his dog was allegedly observed tearing through a neighbor’s trash April 10 in the 200 block of West Austin Avenue.

Investigations continue
Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:
– An April 9 theft of PA registration place FXN1364 from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of West Crawford Avenue.
– An April 10 criminal mischief when the windshield of a vehicle parked in the 700 block of South Arch Street was shattered.
– An April 10 criminal mischief when someone fired a BB gun and struck the window of a residence located in the 100 block of South 9th Street.
– An April 11 criminal mischief when the windshield of a vehicle parked in Gibson Terrace was shattered.
