Support for Crime Victims Center

1 min read

Laurel Highlands High School students will present the Crime Victims’ Center of Fayette County with a check following a rally in front of the Fayette County Courthouse on Friday. The students raised money for abuse prevention programs by holding several fund-raisers and dances. Students also sold “Stop the Hurt” T-shirts and recently charged their teachers for the privilege to wear black and gold with blue jeans in support of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Pictured (standing from left) are Sara Clister; Anita Abbott, Spanish Club sponsor; Ashley Haragos; Henrietta Rerko, sponsor; and high school Principal John Diamond; and (kneeling from left) are Mike Pegg and Felicia Frazee.
