Edward Kotlar

Edward Kotlar, 85, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born July 5, 1921, in Fayette City, Pa., the son of the late George Kotlar and Barbara Buchak Kotlar.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Leona Marie ‘Nonie’ Nascimben Kotlar, brothers, George, Michael and John, and sister, Mary in infancy, and his niece, Rose Marie Smolley.

Edward retired from United States Steel working in the Maple Creek Mine.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Edith F. Baker of Rosedale, Pa.; nieces and nephews: Catherine Kotlar Krukowsky and husband, Robert, Barbara Kotlar, George E. Kotlar and wife, Aldine, Mary Ann Kotlar Pradella and husband, Barry all of Perryopolis, Pa., Jim Baker and wife, Linda of Fairchance, Pa., Bruce Baker of Hopwood, Pa., Wanda Bryte and husband, Darrell of Rosedale, Pa., and Stephen E. Kezmarsky Jr., and wife, Marycarol of Gans, Pa., and several loving great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday, morning, April 19, 2007, until 10 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home.

Entombment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Military Honors will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 103 Hopwood, Pa.
