Joseph Rendziak, 89, Rices Landing, Pa., and formerly of Canonsburg, Pa., died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. Mr. Rendziak was a United States Navy veteran, serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He worked for General Heating Company and for many years serviced furnaces in the Canonsburg area. He also worked for the former Cooper Industries of Canonsburg.

Surviving are his wife, Mary K. Rendziak; a daughter, Dolores Pagano and her husband, John of Meadowlands, Pa.; a son, Joseph Rendziak and his wife, Carolyn of Houston, Pa.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Pearl Barbosky of South Carolina and Ann Geary and her husband, Walter of Baltimore, Maryland.

At the request of the deceased there was no public viewing.

The Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa., was in charge of the arrangements.
