Jonathan Ray Abel, age 45, of Smithfield, Pa., died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at home. He was born February 6, 1962, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the now late Edna Bricker Abel.

Surviving are his wife, Shelley Glover Abel; two sons, Jonathan Ray Abel Jr. and Jason Scott Abel, both at home; his father, Raymond T. Abel of Smithfield, Pa.; and one sister, Patty L. Abel Metts of Uniontown, Pa.

Private visitation will be held for the family only.

Private interment will follow.

Arrangements are under the direction of the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa.
