Kermit L. Jones, 81, of Windber, died Friday, April 20, 2007, in Windber Regional Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Verna Snyder Yost Jones; daughters, Mrs. Lee (Joy) Miller, Mrs. Jay (Ruby) Mader, both of Windber and Mrs. Wendell “John” Ritenour, of Somerset; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; stepsons, Raymond Yost, of North Dakota; Robert Yost, of Mechanicsburg, and William, Eric, and Richard Yost, all of Windber; step-daughters, Gwen Miller, of Johnston, and Cathy Yost, of Windber; 19 step-grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph J. Jones, and Richard Jones, both of Windber; and sister Gertrude Weaver, of Windber.

Friends will be received at Berkey Church of the Brethren, Windber, Pa., today, April 24, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., the hour of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Meek Funeral Home Inc., Windber, Pa.
