Man injured
An unidentified man suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Route 40 near Route 381 at 3:53 p.m. Sunday, Farmington Volunteer Fire Department Chief Brian VanSickle said. The man, who was driving a motorcycle, suffered broken bones after crashing into the back of a car while traveling east on Route 40, VanSickle said. No one in the car was injured, VanSickle said. According to VanSickle, witnesses reported all-terrain vehicles crossed Route 40, causing the chain-reaction crash. In addition to Farmington, Fayette EMS also responded to the crash.

Southwest Regional police said a bullet was shot through the front glass door of the Mon Valley Bible Institute on Main Street between midnight and 8 a.m.

Noise reported
Ricky D. Raiford Jr., 20, and Johnson-Edwards Carlos, 20, both of Philadelphia, were cited for disorderly conduct after police said they were making unreasonable noise at the Jefferson Apartments at 12:30 a.m. Friday, police said.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Barry W. Brooks, 21, of Connellsville with criminal mischief after he allegedly backed a vehicle intentionally into a second vehicle during an April 12 incident in the 600 block of Highland Avenue.
– A 12-year-old male of Connellsville with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment after he allegedly threatened people with a knife during an April 13 incident in the 400 block of Highland Avenue.
– Enrico Gales, 20, of Connellsville with criminal mischief and harassment after he allegedly shot a BB gun at a residence and made harassing telephone calls during an April 13 incident in the 500 block of Highland Avenue.
– Jeremy Hill, 23, of Connellsville with harassment after he allegedly shoved an unidentified female during an April 14 incident in the 400 block of East Washington Avenue.
– Timothy B. McConnell, 30, of Connellsville for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found intoxicated and using profanity during an April 15 incident in the 500 block of West Crawford Avenue.
– Ronald Francy, 51, of Connellsville with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found intoxicated and using profanity while pounding on a door during an April 15 incident at FEMS, located on South Arch Street.
– Stacie Morrison, 31, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after she was allegedly found intoxicated during an April 17 incident in the 300 block of East Green Street.

Investigations continue
Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:
– An April 12 burglary at the Showboat Bar when someone entered the business and stole an unspecified amount of cash.
– An April 13 theft of a digital camera from a Gibson Terrace residence.
– An April 14 theft of a purse that was left in a cart at Shop ‘n Save.
– An April 16 theft of a mini-motorcycle and a Powerwheels all-terrain vehicle from a residence located in the 800 block of West Crawford Avenue.
– An April 17 criminal mischief when a vehicle struck a fence located in the 800 block of West Crawford Avenue and the driver did not notify the property owner.
– An April 17 criminal mischief when someone spraypainted the letters “PK” onto a fence located in the 200 block of East Fairview Avenue.

Two charged
State police said Roger Weygandt, 19, and Frank Sabula, 46, both of Connellsville, were charged with disorderly conduct after a fight at a home on Second Street in Connellsville at 12:50 p.m. Saturday.

Lawn damaged
Edward Payson of Uniontown told state police that a vehicle damaged his lawn on Brushwood Road between midnight and 7 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Man charged
Marchall L. Shankle Jr., 37, of Hopwood was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a routine traffic stop on Coolspring Street at 12:11 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Money stolen
Linda O’Keefe of Uniontown told state police that her purse was stolen while she was shopping in a business in South Union Township at 6 p.m. April 18, police said. The purse was later discovered in the parking lot outside the store but cash had been stolen, police said.

Fight reported
State police said Brian Lucot, 39, of Mount Pleasant was charged with making terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after an altercation with his girlfriend, Carla Stamm, 39, also of Mount Pleasant, at a home in Bullskin Township between 2:30 and 4 a.m. Saturday. Stamm was also charged with harassment, police said.

State police reported Charles R. Maust, no address given, who had been reported missing, was discovered on Prospect Street in Connellsville April 17.

Fraud reported
State police said someone fraudulently applied for a credit card under the name Shirley Greenawalt of Mount Pleasant and then made several charges over a two-year period.

One injured
State police said a vehicle driven by Randy McWilliams, no address available, crashed on Hopwood-Coolspring Road at 1:30 a.m. April 14. A passenger in the vehicle, Francis Lee, no address available, suffered moderate injuries in the crash, police said.

State police said a home owned by Raymond Carson of Connellsville was broken into on Boyd Street between 4 a.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday.

One vehicle crashes
State police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by John Fuller of Tioga struck a concrete barrier on Caney Valley Road at 4 a.m. April 15.

Hit-and-run reported
Vehicles driven by Patrick Baugh, no address available, and Katherine Malik, no address available, were struck by a third vehicle at the intersection of Woodstock Avenue and Bennington Road at 5:10 p.m. Friday, state police said. The driver of the third vehicle fled the scene following the collision, police said.

State police said a purse owned by Katherine Plott of Holbrook was found in a dumpster behind a business in German Township at 6:35 p.m. Friday.

One-car crash logged
No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Dustin Price of Uniontown crashed at the intersection of South Mount Vernon Avenue and Dixon Boulevard at 2:23 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Vincent Glisan of Farmington was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Route 21 March 9, state police said.

Crystal M. Blunt, 22, of Uniontown and Christina L. McGraw, 22, of Fairbank were each charged with simple assault after they engaged in a fight at a home in the Village of Searights at 9:56 p.m. Friday, state police said.

State police said a home owned by Catherine Holland of Mount Braddock was burglarized in North Union Township between noon April 8 and noon April 11.

Barbara Petzel of Mount Pleasant told state police that her purse was stolen from her car while it was parked in a business parking lot in South Union Township at 7:45 p.m. Friday, police said.

William Dale Yauger, 42, of Lemont Furnace was charged with simple assault after an incident involving Jackie Jordan, also of Lemont Furnace, at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Robber caught
State police said Tyler Donald Smidtke, 26, of Connellsville was charged with two robberies at area gas stations during the first two weeks of April following a join investigation by the state police and Connellsville police.

Juvenile charged
State police said an unidentified juvenile was charged with making terroristic threats after an incident involving Dwayne Valentine Sr. of Adah and an unidentified 17-year-old juvenile at a home on Crousher Road at 7:50 p.m. April 18.

Windows broken
Roy Custer of Lemont Furnace told state police that vandals broke two windows at his home on Percy Lane sometime Monday, police said.
