Joseph A. Davis, Jr.
Joseph A. Davis, Jr., 59, of Scottdale, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at his residence. Joe was a Vietnam Veteran who served with the United States Marine Corps, and longtime businessman of Scottdale, Everson and Mount Pleasant, the owner of Frank and Joe’s Hunting Supplies of Scottdale, Joe’s VCR, and Joe’s Arcade. Most recently Joe was employed with D&A Auto Auction of Hunker with Pointe Security as the Sgt. Site Supervisor. He was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1965.
Joe is survived by his mother, Emily Ruth Stepanic Davis of Everson; wife, Rose Marie Connors Davis; two daughters: Amy Jo Johnson and husband, Kevin of Scottdale and Crystal Rose Davis of Scottdale; son, Matthew Joseph Davis of Connellsville; a grandson; brother, Frank Vincent Davis and wife, Marsha of McKeesport; cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
