Patricia Ann Whitely
Patricia Ann Whitely, 71, of New Eagle, Pa., died April 26, 2007, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on January 4, 1936, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Melbourne and Ruth (Logan) Robinson.
Mrs. Whitely was a graduate of Saint Johns Roman Catholic High School in Uniontown. She retired from the Uniontown Hospital where she was employed in the medical records department. She then was employed by the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in the registration department, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of Transfiguration Church in Monongahela. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
She is survived by two daughters: Ruth Gould of Houston, Texas, and Patrice Micheals and husband, Don of Finleyville; son Edward Whitely and wife, Judy of New Eagle; six grandchildren: Matthew and Katherine Gould, Robert Morgan, Jennifer, Stephanie and Christopher Whitely; six stepgrandchildren: Meredith Wells, Meghan Gould, Danelle, Deena, Derek and Drew Micheals; three brothers: Bob Robinson and wife, Phillie of Uniontown, Tom Robinson and wife, Patricia of Hinkley, Ohio, Mel Robinson and wife, Claudia of Chalk Hill; sister, Eileen Sellman and husband, Rich of Strongsville, Ohio; special friend, Paul “Scotty” Elms of Monongahela; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, James “Kimo” Gould.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FRYE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, Pa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Transfiguration Church with the Rev. George Chortos, pastor as Celebrant.
Committal Services and interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
