Garnet Jones Woodward, 83, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, February 1, 2007, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1923, daughter of the late Benjamin and Bertha Fowler Franks.

Garnet was a member of the Flatwoods Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands: Charles Jones and Carl Woodward, grandson, Aaron Jones and a sister, Iris Bodgen.

She is survived by two children: Charles L. Jones and wife, Frances of Uniontown and Iveda Jones of Uniontown; grandson, Jason Jones; two sisters: Ruby Lang of Rockville, Maryland, and Bernice Sesler of Smithfield, Pa.; and a brother, Marshall Franks of Masontown, Pa.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 680 CHERRY TREE LANE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. C. Eugene Stollings officiating.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
