Jara Danylle Glagola Gilbert, age 28, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in her home following a lengthy illness. She was born October 10, 1978, in Washington, Pa., the daughter of Joseph D. Glagola and Dara Denise Belvis Glagola of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Jara graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School.

She was Catholic by faith and a homemaker.

Jara was an avid spokeswoman for the American Heart Association in both Pennsylvania and Florida.

On January 21, 2006, she married Jeffrey J. Gilbert, who survives.

Also surviving, in addition to her parents and her husband, are a sister, Rhianne Glagola of Port St. Lucie, Florida; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Grace Glagola of Richeyville, Pa.; maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Belvis of Denbeau Heights, Pa.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeffrey M. and Robin D. Gilbert of Richeyville, Pa.; two uncles: Kevin Glagola and his wife, Kim, of Richeyville, Pa., and Mark Belvis of Denbeau Heights, Pa.; one aunt, Jessie Belvis of California, Pa.; two nephews: Trevor Glagola of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and T. J. Gilbert of Blairsville, Pa.; and one niece, Paige Gilbert of Vestaburg, Pa. Also surviving are several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jara was preceded in death by a cousin, Joy Belvis.

Friends will be received today, February 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street (Route 40), Beallsville, Pa.

A Graveside Service will be held in Phillips Cemetery, California, Pa., at a later date.
