Ruth Ann Jaquay
Ruth Ann Jaquay, age 62, of Connellsville, Pa., died on Friday, February 2, 2007, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born August 23, 1944, in New York City, New York, the daughter of Clara E. Clark.
Ruth was Protestant by faith.
She was a housewife and homemaker most of her life and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Ruth was predeceased by her mother, her husband, Franklin Jaquay, a granddaughter, Cheyanne Schomer, a grandson, Sean Nicholson, three brothers, Harold Moore, Walter Moore and Chubb Moore, and Jacob R. Daniels, her longtime companion who died with her in the same accident.
Ruth is survived by two sons: James R. Jaquay and his wife, Katrina, of Connellsville and Franklin Bates of Connellsville; four daughters: Rose Nicholson and her husband, Mike, of Connellsville, Glenda Platter and her husband, Scott, of Connellsville, Vickie Bowers and her husband, Gerald, of Mill Run, Pa., and Janice Jaquay of Dunbar, Pa.; several grandchildren; and a brother, Roger Moore of Virginia.
Family and friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 6, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Funeral Service with Pastor Bob Swope officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery, Normalville.
