Sgt. Scott A. Semzock, age 35, of McClellandtown, Pa., died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, while serving his country with the United States Air Force in Vogelweh, Germany. He was born September 27, 1971, in Connellsville, Pa., the son of William and Kathy Martin of McClellandtown, Pa.

Scott was Catholic by faith.

He began his career with the Air Force in 1990 and was currently Communication Project Manager Directorate of Intelligence assigned to Headquarters United States Air Force Europe. He was stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany.

He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ann and Richard Rush and Leatha and John Semzock Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 12 years, Barbara Kuhne of Germany; his sons: Shawn and Nicholas; a sister, Kari Radvansky and her husband, Andrew, and their sons, Andy and Nicholas, of Lititz, Pa.; and his paternal grandmother, Emma Martin of Lemont Furnace, Pa.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., Dennis M. Heath, Supervisor, where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, at 9:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with the Rev. Father Terry A. Hercik as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Connellsville, with Full Military Rites accorded at graveside by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

A Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8:45 p.m.
