Olivia Blythe Cunningham and John (Jack) Michael Wilson of Altoona were united in marriage on Aug. 19. The Rev. Thomas J. Wesdock officiated the nuptial ceremony at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin Cunningham of Dover, Del., and Marie Cunningham of Harrington, Del. The bridegroom is the son of Jack and Elaine Wilson of Deer Lake, Chalk Hill.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a diamond white chiffon over matte satin gown accented with beaded crystals. A veil of illusion was handcrafted by the groom’s godmother.

Maid of honor was Claire Cunningham, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brandi Gerken, Tricia Gerken and Caitlyn Gerken, cousins of the bride; Chelsea Oleksik, cousin of the bridegroom, and Shannan Bennett.

Best men were Stephen Wilson and Justin Wilson, brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jim Schiffbauer and Matthew Oleksik, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at the Historic Summit Inn Resort.

The bride graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor of arts degree. She is pursuing a master’s degree from St. Francis University. She is employed as an executive news producer.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Clarion University with a bachelor of arts degree. He is pursing a master of business administration degree from St. Francis University. He is employed with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The couple honeymooned at St. Lucia.

They are residing in Altoona.
