Anne B. Columbia, age 89, of Brownsville, Pa., and formerly of West Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born on October 31, 1917, in Denbo, Pa., the Daughter of Frank Columbia and Mary Rafac Columbia.

Anne was a member of The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville and a member of the former Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville.

She was predeceased by her Parents and five Brothers, John, Andrew, Michael, Paul and George.

She is survived by two Brothers: David Columbia and his wife Bernice, Brownsville, Pa., and Joseph Columbia and his wife Dolores, Tempe, Arizona; one Sister, Kathryn Kuklish, East Millsboro, Pa.; Niece, Patricia Columbia, Brownsville, with whom Anne resided; and many other numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 PARK STREET, BROWNSVILLE, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 6, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

The Parish Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.

Visitation was also held Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
