Betty L. Goney Ware, age 67, died Saturday, February 3, 2007, at her home in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born May 2, 1939, to Herbert and Evelyn Goney.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Ware, two sisters, Alice Goney and Gladys Goney, and a brother, Herbert L. Goney Jr.

She leaves to mourn her daughter, Linda Richardson and her husband, Mark, of Smock, Pa.; a sister, Nancy Washington of Republic, Pa.; two granddaughters: Lisa Branch and her husband, Bruce, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Takisha Gibson of Jacksonville, Florida; six great-grandchildren: Daniel Wallace, Danea Wallace, Frederick Johnson and Dajohnna Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pa., Whitney McCaine and Jeffrey Bryant of Jacksonville, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received at the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 4 to 8 p.m. where Services will be held Tuesday, February 6, at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
