JAMES E. FISHER, SR.

James E. Fisher, Sr., 82, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Monday, February 5, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital,

Uniontown, Pa., surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 30, 1924, in Mather, Pa., son of

the late Elmer and Isabella Fisher.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine

Brown Fisher, brothers, Elmer and Robert Fisher and sister,

Mary Palazzo.

James was a World War II veteran of the 101st Airborne

division and a retired Coal Miner from Isabella Coal Mine.

He is survived by two sons: James E. Fisher, Jr. and wife ,

Barbara, Brownsville, Pa., and Kevin Fisher and wife, Pam,

Brownsville, Pa.; five grandchildren whom he loved and adored:

Sean, Danielle, Tiffany, Brandon, and Stefanie. He was

also blessed with three great grandchildren: Sean, Jr.,

Bethany, and Christopher.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515

Front Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on

Thursday, February 8, 2007, until 11 a.m., the hour of

service with Rev. Paul Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier

Hill, Pa.

Full military honors will be accorded by American Legion

Posts 940, 175, 838 and 295.
