Three cited

State police said three people were cited Saturday following an incident at 1181 Nellie Road.

Police said they were assisting the Fayette County SPCA when Rex O. Murphy, 30, of Dunbar allegedly became belligerent with an officer at 5:10 p.m. and was cited for disorderly conduct.

Orey L. Murphy, 77, of Dunbar was also cited for disorderly conduct at 5:30 p.m. after he, too, allegedly became belligerent with an officer, police said.

Michael W. Pachella, 19, of Dunbar was cited with disorderly conduct and harassment and charged with simple assault after he allegedly pushed an officer, police said, noting that Pachella was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner and released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Vehicles crash

No one was injured when vehicles driven by Lori Patterson, 45, of Waynesburg and Devon Johnson, 32, of Waynesburg crashed on Route 19 near Fairview Avenue at 5:05 p.m. Friday, state police said.

Man charged

Keith Edward Intorre, 39, of Masontown was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 88 and Maple Street at 1 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Car damaged

Pete Beckich of Uniontown told city police that vandals damaged his vehicle while it was parked on Nutt Avenue at 5:28 p.m. Sunday, Uniontown police said.

Uniontown police said vandals egged cars owned by Sherry Kasievich and Eric Orr, both of Uniontown, while they were parked on Downer Avenue and Marion Street, respectively, Sunday morning.

Kathleen Adams of Uniontown told city police that vandals broke a window at her home on Varndell Street at 12:08 p.m. Sunday, Uniontown police said.

Frederick Huff, no address given, was cited for retail theft after he stole several items from a location on Pittsburgh Street at 1:57 p.m. Sunday, Uniontown police said.

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by John Fowler of Mather and Scott Gilbert of Clearfield collided on Route 221 at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

Man assaulted

Michael Munzak of Pittsburgh told state police that he was physically assaulted outside a Jefferson Borough business at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Woman charged

Sheena Mitchell, 27, of Nemacolin was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Route 188 at 2:38 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Two cited

State police said Christy McCarty, 34, of Waynesburg and John Rollison, 37, of Mount Morris were each cited for harassment after the struck one another during an altercation at a residence on Mount Morris Road at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Pittsburgh

January report

The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement in Pittsburgh reported that 224 complaints were received in January, with more than 1,000 incidents investigated. Police checked 638 establishments and cited 17 for violating liquor laws, according to officials. Police said 14 juveniles were arrested for underage drinking and 27 warnings were issued during the month.

Two-car crash

State police are investigating a two-car accident that occurred at 1:05 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Rubles Mill Road and Seghi Road in Georges Township.

Police said vehicles driven by Jessica Troycheck and James Fowler, both of Smithfield, collided.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Brownsville

Woman assaulted

State police are searching for a man driving a white car who assaulted Bobbie Pace of Brownsville in the parking lot of Coal Hill bar at 2:35 a.m. Monday. Police said the man allegedly drove up to Pace’s vehicle while it was parked in the bar parking lot to ask for directions. Police said Pace then got out of her vehicle to talk to the man, at which time he punched her twice in the head, before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information regarding the assault is asked to call the police at 724-929-6262.

Brownsville

Man charged

Harry Lee Moore of Brownsville was charged with simple assault before Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner after he allegedly punched Kathryn Simmons, also of Brownsville, several times during an argument at a residence on Sheridan Avenue at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, state police said. Moore was placed in the Fayette County Prison on $5,000 bond, police said.

Man charged

Paul White of Belle Vernon was charged with criminal mischief after he broke a door owned by Loren Fox of West Newton at her home on Parkers Road at 11 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Window broken

State police said vandals broke a window owned by Robert Wojcik of Uniontown at his business on Main Street in Republic at 4:15 a.m. Monday.

One-car crash

No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Jennifer Show of Ohiopyle crashed on Route 40 at 11 p.m. Monday, state police said.

North Union Twp.

Man charged

State police said Kurt Paull of North Union Township was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after a routine traffic stop on Connellsville Street at 2:50 a.m. Sunday.

Drugs found

State police said Kaelin Bubonovich of North Union Township was charged with possession of marijuana during a routine traffic stop on Coolspring Street at 1 a.m. Jan. 21.

South Union Twp.

Theft reported

State police said someone requesting change for four $10 bills deceived the cashier at Red Lobster on Route 40 into giving him extra money at 2:55 p.m. Thursday.

North Union Twp.

One-car crash

No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Robert McCargo of Connellsville struck a deer on Connellsville Street and then hit a house at 3:55 a.m. Friday, state police said.

German Twp.

Two injured

State police said Kenneth Huffine and passenger Betty Huffine, no addresses given, each suffered minor injuries when the car Kenneth Huffine was driving crashed on Walnut Hill Road at 5:24 p.m. Saturday.
