Morgantown Street accident injures two

1 min read

Two Perryopolis residents suffered injuries Friday afternoon when the vehicle they were traveling in collided with two other cars on Morgantown Street in Uniontown. Uniontown Police Officer David Rutter said Barbara Springer and Herbert Springer, both of Perryopolis, were taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment following the crash. The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Dale Rexrode of Farmington collided with a vehicle operated by Pamela Palya of Hopwood, causing Palya’s vehicle to strike a third vehicle, driven by Barbara Springer, Rutter said. Emergency personnel from the Uniontown Fire Department, Uniontown Fireman’s Ambulance and Uniontown police responded to the crash, which occurred just after noon. Pictured are Uniontown Firemen’s Ambulance crew members helping one of those injured in the accident. Uniontown police and firefighters also assisted at the scene.
