James E. Hennessey

James E. Hennessey, age 70, of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., retired postal carrier and United States Army veteran, who was born in Buffington, Fayette County, Pa., and graduated from Carmichaels Area High School, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa. He is survived by his sons: Michael Hennessey of Tampa, Florida, and James E. Hennessey Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; son-in-law, Larry Hallenbeck of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; grandchildren: Samantha Hennessey, Jason Hallenbeck and Dustin Hallenbeck; his former wife, Sue Gehring McCauley of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; brothers: Patrick Hennessey and his wife, Barbara, of Carmichaels, Pa., and the Rev. Daniel Hennessey and his wife, Barbara, of Greensboro, Pa.; sister, Mary Hennessey Hunter and her husband, Oliver, of Dillon, Montana; very close niece, Ruth Anne Polander and her husband, Dan; other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 13, until 11 a.m.
