Engaged to be married are Linda D. Richter of Uniontown and John R. Mari Jr., also of Uniontown. The bride-elect is the daughter of Betsy E. Carr of Uniontown and Albert E. Richter of California. She is a 2002 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2006 graduate of Penn State. She is employed with Highland Professional Consultants Inc. in Irwin.

Her fiance is the son of Donna Honse of Greensburg and John Mari of Uniontown. He is a 2002 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and is employed with the Swank Associated Companies of Pittsburgh.
