Sharik-Knox
Judy Ann Knox of New Stanton, and Mark Christopher Sharik of Yukon were united in marriage on Sept. 2. The Rev. Andy Miles officiated the service at the First Christian Church, New Salem.
The bride is the daughter of Ann and Cuddy Knox of Mill St extension, New Salem. The bridegroom is the son of Clifford Sharik of Huntingdon Lane, Yukon, and the late Lorraine Sharik.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-white A-line brocaded gown with gold rhinestone accented bodice. A headpiece of white roses held a shoulder-length veil.
Jody Lynn Kopanic, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sue Smith and Diana Hardy. Flower girls were Victoria Knox and Kaelynn Marie Kopanic, nieces of the bride. Attendant was Elizabeth Knox, niece of the bride.
Best man was Clifford Sharik. Groomsman was Acie Williams.
A reception was held at the Mount Pleasant Banquet Hall.
The bride is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School. She is employed at Sony in Mount Pleasant.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Yough High School. He is also employed at Sony.
