Stanley W. Baniak Jr.
Stanley W. Baniak Jr., age 55, of Denbo Heights, Pa., died Thursday, February 8, 2007, at 1 p.m. with his loving wife, Carol, at his side. He was born on November 4, 1951, in Brownsville, Pa., the Son of Stanley W. Baniak and Bertha M. Underwood Baniak.
“Stan” was previously employed by Pompei and Sons Inc., Bentleyville, Pa., as a laborer until January 2005.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He a member of the Richeyville Miners Club, Daisytown Athletic Club, Bentleyville Independent Club and the American Legion in California, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters, Donna Downer and Margaret Shinko, Grandparents, Elliott and Agnes Underwood and Stanley W. and Jessie Baniak, and several Nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memory, along with his Wife, Carol Lee Finsley Baniak, Sons, Eric William Baniak and Stephanie Roth of Brownsville, Pa., and M. Shawn Paul and Jodi Zelina Paul of Williamsburg, Virginia; beloved Grandson, Corey Michael Paul; Sister, Beverly Maki, Smallwood, Pa.; and Niece, Yvonne Lutes, Brownsville, Pa.
He will be greatly missed by his kitties: Felix, Paa-Paa, Little One and Prissy Macey.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 12, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edd Myers officiating.
Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery where Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 0377, California, Pa.
Stan’s family wishes to send their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Family Hospice of Pittsburgh and especially Barb Sphar, R.N., for their loving support and care during these past weeks.
