Mary E. Advent Michalik
Mary E. Advent Michalik, age 81, of Masontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2007, at her home with her loving daughters by her side. She was born on December 12, 1925, in Grays Landing, Pa., the daughter of John Advent and Mary (Klocz) Advent.
Mary was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed!
Her parents, husband, Stanley Michalik, daughter, Rosemary Hoferka, and brothers, John, Joe, Stephen, Jacob, Andrew, Charles, George and Frank, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children: Janet Michalik of Masontown, Pa., Joanne Michalik of Pittsburgh, Pa., Linda Michalik at home and Mary Jeanne Nobers and her husband, Jeff, of McMurray, Pa.; and grandchildren: Emily Nobers, Matthew Nobers, Stacey Hoferka and Adam Hoferka.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 14, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with the Rev. Father John Butler as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
