Robert Baker, 18, of Smithfield was charged with harassment after he struck William Shaffer of Smithfield at a residence on Outcrop Road at 5 a.m. Monday, state police said.

Vandalism reported
Laura Robinson of Star Junction told state police that vandals scattered garbage on her lawn at her home on Tony Row Road between 8 a.m. Feb. 5 and 3 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Cars collide
State police said vehicles driven by Walter Riegler of Zeltweg, Austria, and Jennifer Petroff of Brownsville collided at the intersection of Route 40 and Route 166 at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. A passenger in Petroff’s vehicle, Carolyn Duke of Brownsville, suffered minor injuries in the crash, police added.

Mark Herring of Uniontown was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Connellsville Street at 1:55 a.m. Jan. 20, state police said.

State police said charges are pending against an 18-year-old Smithfield man accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol in Springhill Township at 5:14 a.m. Monday.

Mildred Bezjak of New Geneva suffered minor injuries when the car she was driving crashed on Smithfield-New Geneva Road at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

William Graham, 20, of Winchester, Ohio, was charged with possession of marijuana and Michael Stone Jr., 22, of Uniontown was charged for carrying a firearm without a license after the men were stopped while traveling on Route 857 at 1:15 a.m. Dec. 16, 2006, state police said.

Theresa Linden of Dunbar told state police that someone she knows pushed her during an argument at a bar on Route 51 sometime Saturday, police said.

Four charged
Andrea Dronebarger, 21, and Daniel Blake, 21, both of Waynesburg, along with two unidentified 17-year-old girls, were charged with harassment and disorderly conduct after an altercation at a Waynesburg apartment Saturday, state police said.

Charges filed
Uniontown police said charges have been filed against Barry King of 371/2 Morgantown St., Uniontown for driving while under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and driving with a suspended operator’s license after he lost control of a van he was driving and struck a tree along Beeson Avenue around 11 p.m. Jan. 19. Police said a passenger in the van, Reginald Grooms of Merrittstown, suffered injuries in the crash.
