Gary A. Schultz
Gary A. Schultz, 66, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away suddenly Sunday, February 11, 2007, at his home. He was born December 7, 1940, in Hopwood, Pa., son of Helen Marie Caton Schultz of Hopwood and the late Albert H. Schultz.
Gary was a member of the Uniontown Church of the Brethren.
He served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis aboard the U.S.S. Brough. He was a floor installer with Faris Carpets.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Roberta Sayers Schultz and three children, Gary A. Schultz Jr. and wife Kelly of O’Fallon, Illinois, Steven Schultz Sr. and wife Sherri of Hopwood, Pa., Sharon Schultz of Hopwood, Pa.; five grandchildren, Adam J. Schultz, Samantha A. Schultz, Gary A. Schultz III, Steven Schultz Jr., and Justin Schultz; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Nicholson and Bryce Schultz; one sister, Wanda Pitts and husband Larry of Palm Bay, Florida.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Dr. Vincent Cable officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
