The Student of the Month Committee of the Brownsville Rotary Club has named Bethany Seelye as its student of the month for November. A senior at Brownsville Area High School, she is a daughter of Mary and Gary Seelye of Brownsville. Seelye is president of the high school’s Interact Club and the National Honor Society. She also is an active member of Student Council and the Future is Mine Club.
Seelye is captain of the Falcon tennis team. She also has played varsity softball for four years and varsity basketball for two years.
Bethany plans to attend college and has aspirations to become a pharmacist.
