North Union Twp. Man charged

State police said Jeffrey Eugene Jacobs, 31, of Markleysburg was charged with several assault charges before Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

Driver injured

State police said William Matsko of California suffered minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving crashed on Interstate 70 at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police said a passenger in Matsko’s car, Sherry Hewitt, also of California, suffered injuries in the crash.

Woman charged

Kimberly Katona, no address available, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after the vehicle she was driving collided with a vehicle driven by Pauline Jensen, no address available, on Route 1051 at 9:40 p.m. Dec. 12, state police said.

Gun stolen

State police said a 45-caliber semi-automatic handgun owned by Cynthia Partridge of Uniontown was stolen from her home on Dixon Boulevard between 8 a.m. Dec. 4 and Friday.

Generator stolen

State police said a generator and 200 gallons of diesel fuel owned by Swank Associated Co. of New Kensington were stolen from a construction site on Fan Hollow Road between 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

Brownsville

Cars collide

No one was injured when vehicles driven by Lori Carnahan of Millsboro and Anthony DeCarlo of New Salem collided on Route 40 at 7:20 a.m. Feb. 1, state police said.

Items stolen

State police said items were stolen from Fayco Rentals on Connellsville Street between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:35 a.m. Monday.

Man charged

Christopher Summer, 21, of Dunbar was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana after a routine traffic stop on Route 40 at 1:33 a.m. Feb. 5, state police said.

East Huntingdon Twp.

Crash reported

State police said vehicles driven by Sheree Shumar of Alverton and Donald Davis of Scottdale collided on Water Street Tuesday. Shumar suffered injuries in the crash, police said.

North Union Twp.

Window smashed

Delphia Mills, no address available, told state police that vandals smashed the rear window of her minivan as it was parked on Braddock Street Feb. 6 or Feb. 7, police said.

Man charged

State police said Richard Myers of Uniontown was charged with harassment after an incident involving Milani Myers of Uniontown at a residence on Club York Road at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Garbage service

West Brownsville police are issuing a reminder that all residents, commercial and industrial enterprises in the borough are required to use the licensed collection service for garbage hauling. Anyone in West Brownsville who needs to sign up for garbage collection service should call Waste Management at 1-800-866-4460.

Drugs found

State police said charges will be filed against a 25-year-old Connellsville man after he was discovered with drugs at a location on Garden Street at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday.

Man injured

Jay C. Humphrey of Carnegie suffered injuries when the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a tree on Indian Head Road at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Woman charged

State police said Rochelle Lynn Fabery, 27, no address available, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 62 Birch Road at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 1.

Two charged

Nicholas Jason Damico, 28, and Kristin Ann Damico, 27, both of Dunbar, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at a business on Route 40 at 3:19 p.m. Jan. 13, state police said.

Tool stolen

State police said a construction tool owned by Scott Umbel of West Leisenring was stolen from his home on Bute Road between 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 and 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Animal complaints

The West Brownsville police are reminding residents that all animal complaints should be reported to the Washington County 9-1-1 Center, which in turn will contact the animal control officer.

This applies to all animal complaints, including animals running at large and animal abuse cases.

One-car crash

State police said Andrea Beveloque of Uniontown suffered minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving crashed on an icy Route 40 into a utility pole at 6:50 p.m. Feb. 1. Police said a 4-year-old boy in the car also suffered minor injuries.

State police said a vehicle owned by Steven Sadecky of Dilliner was stolen from Power Plant Road at 11 a.m. Jan. 19.

Guardrail struck

No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Shelia Hoge of Mount Morris struck a guardrail on Route 19 at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Man charged

Michael Catalano of Waynesburg was charged with retail theft after an incident at Sheetz in Waynesburg at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Greene Twp.

One-car crash

State police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by Charles Lemley of Carmichaels crashed because of snowy conditions on Route 2011 at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday.

Franklin Twp.

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Randy Victor of Waynesburg and Patrick Sarver of Markleysburg collided at the intersection of Route 21 and Baker Road at 7:10 a.m. Monday. Victor suffered injuries in the crash, police said.
